  • Disaster Management Awareness Camp & Training at Pimpri Sadroddin (Igatpuri) Nashik district (Maharashtra) on 5th March.

    The program was conducted by REACHA with the objective of strengthening community preparedness and emergency response mechanisms. The initiative draws inspiration from the vision and leadership of J. C. Pant, Founder of REACHA, who has significantly contributed to the development of India’s National Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). His commitment to building resilient communities continues to guide REACHA’s grassroots interventions in disaster preparedness and risk reduction. The sessions were led by an expert trainer From DRR Department From Nashik District who provided practical and hands-on knowledge on managing both natural and man-made disasters, including earthquakes, floods, fires, and landslides. The training focused on real-life emergency scenarios to ensure participants could respond effectively during crises. Participants received hands-on training in: Rescue operations and safe evacuation procedures Conducting mock drills First aid techniques Life-saving skills, including CPR Drowning response and water-related emergency management Special emphasis was placed on School Disaster Management, equipping students, teachers, and staff with the necessary knowledge to handle emergency situations within educational institutions. A total of 143 students, teachers, college staff, and community members actively participated in the program. The training significantly enhanced awareness, preparedness, and the overall emergency response capacity of the community, reinforcing the vision of building disaster-resilient villages under the Nokia Smartpur Project.

  • Week of 2nd March 2026 -

    Glimpses of training session from  SIDBI(Small Industries Development Bank of India)  supported Enterprise Development Training Initiative at Medziphema Village located 44Km from Kohima.  Following are the glimpses from the Bamboo Craft Training Sessions at Medziphema.  The trainings are being conducted in collaboration with Assam Rifles.

  • Deorighat, Dhemaji District, Assam Innovative farming practice at one of our Nokia Smartpur benefitted farmers-

    At his farm we could see the following -  Integrated farming practice for -  1. Horticulture - Banana, Pineapple, Guava, Grapes, Bear Fruit etc 2. Fishery Farm - Rohu, Catla, etc  3. Livestock farming - Pigery farm, Goatery, Poultry  4. Weaving - traditional wear - cloth and Assamese wear  5. Nuts - Arecanuts etc  6. Agriculture - Paddy, Pulses etc.  Their house was made up of Bamboo making it sustainable.  The architecture planning of the house was done keeping in mind local flooding situation in Dhemaji, hence the premises was lifted above the ground.  Mr Dalip got training of integrated farming from KVK Dhemaji under the Nokia Smartpur Initiative. He used this training to develop his model farm. He now also helps us as a master trainer sharing his practices that makes his farm a model farm with other farmers.  Glimpses - KPMG and REACHA team visited the farm recently to see his model.

  • Nokia Smartpur in Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh.

    Team is bringing the initiative to panchayats of Rajgarh in following blocks -  Khilchipur, Narsinghgarh, Rajgarh and Zirapur Blocks.  The team is closely working with District Adminsitration.  The team also inaugurated REACHA MP office at Rajgarh today!  Extensive field visits through Sunday!

  • Introducing Nokia Smartpur Initiative to Haryana State.

    Team will be implementing the Smartpur Initiaive at Panchayats of the following blocks of Mahendragarh District.   1. Kanina 2. Mahendragarh 3. Nangal Chaudhari 4. Satnali 5. Narnaul 6. Nizampur  7. Ateli Glimpses of action from the ground.

  • 27.2.2026 - Interaction with CEO - Mr Nikhil Pant.

    Today trainees and team members of all projects from Pan India - Kashmir, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Lucknow, Faridabad along with all REACHA team pan India came together for an interaction with Mr. Nikhil.  The trainees from all locations shared what they have been learning at the training centers, their vision - what they want to become in next 5 and 10 years. Each trainee is noting down their stories as part of training.  REACHA team is dedicated and is closely working with trainees and community members to ensure that we reach the last mile and are able to genuinely create an impact in their lives!

  • 24.2.2026 - Introducing Nokia Smartpur in Uttarakhand.

    Today in the presence of Shri  Raj Shekhar Joshi  Sir - Vice Chairman,  SETU Aayog ,  Government of Uttarakhand  and  Dr.Bhavna Shinde  - SETU Aayog, the team inagurated Nokia Smartpur in Uttarakhand. Honorable VC, Setu Aayog inagurated - new Smartpur Centre at Naudha Gram Panchayat, Kotabag, Nainital. We are grateful for this collaboration to strengthen communities of Nanital and Haridwar Districts.

  • 21st February 2026 -

    Genpact  supported Skill Bridge Program - Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh  Our CEO  Nikhil Pant  made a field visit to the center where he interacted with all the trainees of our batches 5 and 6. The entire goal of team REACHA has been to work consistently with the youth of Uttar Pradesh to guide and motivate them so that they can be ready in line with the market requirements. The team takes journey of every trainee seriously, as each trainee has their own story and joruney.  We are also grateful to support of  Employment and Training Department Uttar Pradesh  and guidance of  Neha Prakash  Ma'am to strengthen the initiative.

  • Introducing Nokia Smartpur to Tamil Nadu!

    Glimpses from the extensive on ground visits at Tiruvallur District.  Team is bringing Smartpur initiative to panchayats of Blocks - Poondi, Eallapuram, Minjur, Gummudipudi. Stay tuned for more updates!

  • Completion Certification Ceremony for our Trainees from IIFL (India Infoline Group) Foundation Supported Programs -

    1) IIFL Kupwara Hospitality - Chef Training (in collaboration with Indian Army) 2) IIFL Homestay Host - Tezu (in collaboration with NCC) Course curriculum and assessment are done as per market standards -  Tata STRIVE .  Through IIFL Foundation's support we are able to take market aligned training along with placement and market linkages to youth who are located in far off areas of Kupwara, Kashmir (North most India), and Tezu, Arunchal Pradesh (North east India).

  • Our Trainees at IIFL (India Infoline Group) Foundation supported Front Office and Homestay Host Training Programs at Pallel, Manipur with guidance and support of Assam Rifles.

    Tata STRIVE  is the assessment and certification partner. As part of the training program - post the focus the entire focus becomes on market linkages for our trainees.  Today a group of our trainees had interview with the Le Meridian Navi Mumbai.  The real journey starts/continues post the training as well. Our Manipur team is at it with the traininees with full dedciation and committment to ensure that they are not only getting skilled / learning new concepts of hospitality industry but also are in a position to generate livelihood for themselves and also support their families!

  • 17th February 2026 - Uttarakhand Skill Gap Analysis - Department and Industry Consultation Workshop organised by SETU Aayog and REACHA at Setu Aayog, Dehradun.

    The objective of this consultation workshop was to engage with leading department and industry representatives to gather sector-specific insights on current employment trends, workforce composition, emerging job roles, and future skill requirements.
