The Front Office Associate Training Programme at The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) Srinagar is equipping participants with essential hospitality and professional skills for the industry. A CSR initiative of IHCL, with certification from Tata STRIVE, facilitated by the Indian Army, and implemented by REACHA.

SIDBI(Small Industries Development Bank of India) supported project in collaboration with Assam Rifles implemented by REACHA in action at Oriental College, Kohima, Nagaland. Bamboo Craft training is completed, and team is working with youth in registering their enterprises!

Celebrated on September 5 to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, India's second President and a renowned philosopher and teacher. When students asked to celebrate his birthday in 1962, he requested they honor all teachers instead. On 2nd September 2026, an Industry exposure visit was organised for 42 trainees from the IIFL Foundation supported - Front Office and Food & Beverage Trainings at Shalom Farms, Imphal. The visit provided trainees with an opportunity to understand hotel operations and gain practical insights into the day-to-day functioning of different departments. During the visit, the General Manager guided the trainees around the property and explained the roles and responsibilities of various departments. The trainees visited the Front Office, Rooms, Restaurant, and Kitchen, and also explored different types of rooms and their facilities and services. The General Manager further shared valuable insights into how different departments work together to ensure quality guest service and smooth hotel operations. This exposure visit helped trainees connect their classroom learning with real-world hospitality practices, while gaining a clearer understanding of their respective domains and future career opportunities. A meaningful step towards practical learning, skill development, and industry exposure.

Our trainees from Welder, Electrician, Machinist and Fitter Trades participated in today's placement drive at ITI No.5, Faridabad. The industry aligned training supported by Imperial Auto in Faridabad for ITI students is enabling them to get ready in line with the market. Post that, the team works with the trainees and connect them with various opportunities in the industry.

Exposure Visit at Hotel Lake Shilloi Dimapur, Nagaland - The trainees explored the F&B Department, learnt about meal preparation and understood how various departments work. The Front Office Department was covered in great deatil, including its functions and the importance of guest interactions and service. Trainees got a closer look at different room types through room tours and learned how to deal with different kinds of guests and their needs. The visit also included an introduction to banquet and conference halls, giving the Trainees a broader understanding of the various operations within a hotel.

REACHA has introduced Martial Arts Training at Chinar Yuva center with Indian Army. Team is training youth of Kashmir in technical practice of Martial Arts. These are youth from the near border areas!
