  • Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh - Capacity Building Workshop under the Nokia Smartpur Project - Banki Block Auditorium, Barabanki | 10 July 2026

    REACHA team conducted a Capacity Building Workshop under the Nokia Smartpur Project at the Banki Block Auditorium, Barabanki, on 10th July 2026. The workshop aimed to strengthen stakeholder engagement, review project progress, and enhance awareness of the project's objectives and benefits among Government officials, Panchayat Representatives, and Community Members. The programme was attended by key Government Officials from the Panchayati Raj Department, National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), Agriculture Department, Block Development Offices, Gram Pradhans, Centre Management Committee (CMC) members, Centre Operators, Project Beneficiaries, and REACHA HQ Team. The workshop focused on project progress, community outreach, and strategies to promote digital literacy, skill development, financial inclusion, governance and livelihood opportunities in rural areas. Community Members shared their experiences with Smartpur!

    9.7.2026 - Nokia Smartpur - Karnataka state Kolar District Workshop concluded successfully with a strong commitment to strengthening collaboration among government departments, technical institutions, PRI members, and village level entrepreneurs. The workshop was honoured by the presence of Dr. Praveen P. Bagewadi, I.A.S., Chief Executive Officer, Kolar Zilla Panchayat, Mr. Ramesh, Deputy Secretary, Zilla Panchayat, Mr. Anil, Scientist, Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), and Mr. Vijay Kumar, Senior Official, Canara Bank, whose valuable guidance and insights encouraged greater convergence between agriculture, horticulture, skill development, financial inclusion, governance, and digital services. The active participation of PDOs from all 14 Gram Panchayats, beneficiaries, and the REACHA Smartpur team reflected a shared vision of delivering accessible, citizen-centric services through the SmartPur Centres. The workshop strengthened partnerships among key stakeholders and laid a strong foundation for the coordinated implementation of livelihood, digital empowerment, and rural development initiatives across all 14 panchayat’s in Kolar district.

  • Awareness Program on Banking and Financial Services at the Borpathar Smartpur Digital Center, located at Bukajan Community Hall.

    Assam - On 7 July 2026, the Smartpur Project, implemented by REACHA, organized an Awareness Program on Banking and Financial Services at the Borpathar Smartpur Digital Center, located at Bukajan Community Hall. The program was attended by Village Organization (VO) Presidents and Secretaries, Self-Help Group (SHG) Presidents and Secretaries, SHG members, Sanjog Sakhis, Bima Sakhis, and Jibika Sakhis. Session focused on various government banking and social security schemes, including:- National Pension System (NPS), Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY), Atal Pension Yojana (APY), Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan (PM-SYM), Kisan Credit Card (KCC), Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY). The participants were informed about the benefits, eligibility criteria, enrollment process, and the importance of these schemes in ensuring financial security, social protection, and economic empowerment.

    REACHA is grateful to the Indian Army at Chinar YUVA, Baramulla, Kashmir for all the support over the last few years. Under Army's guidance REACHA along with its CSR Partners has been able to bring in structure to the Initiatives that are taking place in Kashmir. These CSR initiatives undertaken under supervision and facilitation of Indian Army, to mainstream school dropouts, local unemployed youth and to rehabilitate drug addicts from radicalized areas of Baramulla have been extraordinary and has helped in nation building efforts by not only benefiting the local community but by also instilling a sense of pride for country in all of them. The collaborative nation-building efforts with the Indian Army have not only benefited the local community but have also fostered a sense of unity and pride among its members. The trust that has been built over the years is a reflection of the dedication of our joint efforts. The following data provides an overview of the accomplishments of the projects spanning from April 2016 to August 2023, with a focus on the number of beneficiaries impacted: Fashion Designing - 460 Retail and Hospitality - 1800 Music - 200 Coding and Basic Computer (Aligned with National Education Policy 2020) - 120 Rehabilitation under Drug De-addiction - 4,400 Many students who were trained at Chinar 9 Jawan Club, Baramulla and others who were provided rehab at our Drug De-Addiction Center, Baramulla took to pursuing higher education as they were motivated and counselled to do so by the staff at the center under REACHA's guidance. This impact has played a very positive and transformative role in mainstreaming the youth in Kashmir, encouraging them towards progressive careers, and brought peace in the valley. This has encouraged more Army units in Kashmir to replicate this outcome. We sincerely thank Indian Army and all our CSR Partners for the support in Kashmir!

    UP Team closely collaborating with District Administration Office - Barabanki. Team is closely working with the DC, Shri Ishan Pratap Singh (IAS) and shared the progress of our work in the region. Team also shared our progress about work with District Disaster Officer, Deputy Commissioner (NRLM), DPM (NRLM), and BDO (Banki Block). Team continues to work towards reaching and positively impact the last mile in guidance and collaboration of Government Stakeholders! Team also shared about our Founder - Shri Late JC Pant sir (IAS Officer - UP Cadre 1961 Batch with all stakeholders).

    The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) supported Uttarakhand Youth Upskilling Program in collaboration with Department of Skill Development and Employment Uttarakhand. Extensive Follow up taken up from our trainees from ITIs of Haridwar and Dehradun - FY 2025-26. Our CEO also interacted with them to understand their stories and guided, counselled and motivated them towards market linakge opportunities.

  • 2nd July 2026 - Nokia Smartpur in Andhra Pradesh - Nellore and Tirupati Districts, implemented by REACHA.

    Team and all important stakeholders - Government departments, Academia, Community Members, Village Level Entrepreneurs came together at Dr Br Ambedkar Bhavan, Naidupeta, Tirupathi District, Andhra Pradesh to share about the deep work Smartpur has been generating through out the year at the Smartpur Annual Impact Workshop. Community members shared their case stories how Smartpur benefitted and strengthened their lives through its pillars - Goveranance, Livelihood, Education, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Health. Team also created a model Smartpur at the venue to show how a center to looks like for our guests from Government Departments - Mandal Development Office, Horticulture Department, RSETI etc.

    10 years and counting at Chinar Yuva, Baramulla, Kashmir through thick and thin - From where it all began for REACHA in 2016 in Kashmir under gudiance of Indian Army. REACHA will be partnering with Indian Army to bring IIFL Foundation supported Beauty and Wellness Training at Chinar Yuva, Baramulla this year. Team will also be bringing Martial Arts, Content Creation, Food Processing Self Help Group at the center with Indian Army.
