Through IIFL Foundation support team has brought in Industry aligned trainings to the youth of Northeast. We are coducting Industry aligned trainings in - Front Office, F&B Service, and Homestay. Post that training team is connecting youth to hospitality industry pan India so they kick start their livelihood journeys. We are committed to reaching the last mile and in strengthening them with IIFL Foundation in Northeast.

The 2nd day of the 6-day Aari Work Training was successfully conducted at Chincholi Village, Nashik District, Maharashtra, under the Nokia-supported Smartpur Project, implemented by REACHA. A total of 40 women actively participated in the training and engaged enthusiastically in the practical learning sessions. The training is focused on developing Aari work skills, promoting livelihood opportunities, and supporting women’s economic empowerment at the community level.

Farhan Khan belongs to a financially modest family. His father, works as a labourer, while his mother is a homemaker. There are 5 members in the family, including his father, mother, brother, sister, and himself. The candidate is a resident of Shaladajan, Nowshera, Boniyar, a hilly village in Kashmir. Due to the difficult terrain and limited transportation facilities in the area, he used to walk on foot during the morning and evening to reach the highway, and then come to the The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) supported Chinar Boniyar Center for his training. Despite these challenges and his modest family background, Farhan remained committed to his training and successfully secured placement as a Chef Bakery trainee/employee at Absolute Barbeque, Hyderabad, with food and accommodation. REACHA wishes him all the best as he starts his professional journey!
- Livelihood training for women at Nokia supported Smartpur Kangripora, Budgam District
Today we started Day one of the livelihood training for women at Nokia supported Smartpur Kangripora, Budgam District, conducted in collaboration with the Departments of Agriculture and Horticulture, began with an engaging introductory session on food processing led by subject matter experts. Experts clearly explained the fundamentals of food processing and emphasized the critical role of value addition for fruits and vegetables in increasing shelf life, improving marketability, and boosting household incomes. Practical examples and local relevance were highlighted—showing how simple techniques like drying, pickling, jam making, and minimal processing can transform seasonal produce into higher-value products. The experts also outlined market opportunities, basic safety and hygiene practices, and the linkage between quality processing and better prices, encouraging participants to think of processing as a viable micro-enterprise. Through focused mobilization efforts in the community, 35 women enrolled and actively participated, demonstrating strong interest and setting a positive tone for skill-building and future enterprise development during the training.

Team REACHA celeberated Independence Day across all its centers Pan India - 16 States. Team from all these different states came together. The team honored the courage of freedom fighters, celebrated national unity and integration! We also remembered our Founder - Late Shri JC Pant who was a lover of the country and tirelessly worked through his Life, Service in IAS and through REACHA to uplfit and strengthen the communities pan India. We look forward to continue to work and take his vision of strengthening our country forward. The team remains committed in reaching the last mile and looks forward to continue to build momentum towards Viksit Bharat 2047! Jai Hind!
- Academic Integration to Nokia Smartpur Project Glimpse With Central Jammu University, Jammu - Field Work Unit
Extensive Field visit was organised for the students and faculty members of Central University of Jammu to the Smartpur Project in Samba. The visit gave them an opportunity to experience work being taken up through Smartpur at Panchayats firsthand, interact with communities, and understand how the Smartpur Centre and its various pillars are being implemented at the ground level. The visit covered: * Glard (Panchayat) Smartpur Center – A visit to the border area to understand the lives and challenges of communities living along the border. Beneficiary Meeting * Paperabtara – A mountain trek and field exposure, giving students an opportunity to experience the local terrain, environment, and rural community setting.

Glimpses from technical Bamboo Handicraft training being imparted at Oriental College, Kohima - Nagaland. Team is working closely with the youth of the college and getting them ready to start their entrepreneurship journey. College is supporting the initiative strongly, and to build this component as part of the Academic Delivery as well!

REACHA Got Talent and First Running Meet - 1st Edition...To all team members. Recently, Team had an offsite where Team members from 11 States got together in New Delhi for a running and fitness meet and for REACHA Got Talent. All team turned up at 5am in the morning at Lodhi Garden for a 3km Run, and post that the team gathered for the first edition of REACHA got talent. The performances saw - Singing, Dancing, Shayari, Poetry, Mimicry from all around the country. The team continues to put in all their heart to reach and strengthen the last mile. As we spent time together, we are excited for the coming times to further continue to build upon the momentum and strengthen the communities! This was celebration of creativity, confidence, and togetherness. It was an opportunity to connect, inspire one another, and celebrate the incredible people who make our mission possible.

Team is closely working with each trainee, and getting them ready in line with the requirements of industry through the intervention.
