Awareness Program on Banking and Financial Services at the Borpathar Smartpur Digital Center, located at Bukajan Community Hall.

Assam - On 7 July 2026, the Smartpur Project, implemented by REACHA, organized an Awareness Program on Banking and Financial Services at the Borpathar Smartpur Digital Center, located at Bukajan Community Hall. 

The program was attended by Village Organization (VO) Presidents and Secretaries, Self-Help Group (SHG) Presidents and Secretaries, SHG members, Sanjog Sakhis, Bima Sakhis, and Jibika Sakhis. 

Session focused on various government banking and social security schemes, including:- National Pension System (NPS), Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY), Atal Pension Yojana (APY), Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan (PM-SYM), Kisan Credit Card (KCC), Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY). The participants were informed about the benefits, eligibility criteria, enrollment process, and the importance of these schemes in ensuring financial security, social protection, and economic empowerment.
