  • Nokia Smartpur UP; Week of 30th March 2026 -

    Nokia  Smartpur - Field Visit Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh Our CEO Mr.  Nikhil Pant  visited Panchayats - 1. Agasand, 2. Jamulia, 3. Sainder. These panchayats come under the block Nindura. The team also visited and updated District Magistrate Barabanki - Shri Shashank Tripathi (IAS) and DPRO - Shri Nitesh Bhondale about the set up phase of Smartpur program that includes setting up solar panels and digital infrastucture to tech+solar enable the panchayats. Training and activities in coming times will be planned in collaboration with District Administration's Office. Glimpses of pictures from the ground survey visit.

  • Updates from Nokia Smartpur in Jammu (Samba District) over last few days -

    1) Naran Panchayat - Livelihood Training Program on Vegetable Cultivation at Naran in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra Samba. This program aimed to enhance the skills of local farmers in vegetable cultivation, promoting sustainable livelihoods and improving crop yields.  2) Daruee Panchayat - Conducted e-filing camp at Village Balore where ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) Card Applications were done for the community members.  3) LKM Panchayat - Glimpses of Digital Literacy classes at the Smartpur Center.  4) Daghore and Dhora Panchayats - conducted camp linking youth and womens with business and job opportunities collaborately with Employment Department Samba at Block development office Nud.  The team continues to reach out to last  hashtag#mile , push and take the government schemes to remote and far flung areas.  Pictures of Smartpur and REACHA Smartpur team in action from Samba District, Jammu!

  • SIDBI - Supported Enterprise Development Program

    We are happy to share through Nagland Team's continuous efforts under the  SIDBI(Small Industries Development Bank of India)  supported enterprise development program - team has been able to officially register a group of 50 community members from Kikruma Village, Nagaland - Kura Enterprise. These group will be primarily focusing on Bamboo Products.  They are from far flung areas of Nagaland.  Kikruma lies within a hilly, high-altitude region. The area follows regional trends of being largely inhabited by the Chakhesang Naga community.  The above could not be possible without the support of Assam Rifles Kohima - who has helped us to identify pockets in Kohima and nearby regions where we can take the SIDBI program and create maximum impact.  These are areas where not much has happened in the past and this is first of its kind intervention. The focus is now on market and credit linkage for the Kura Enterprise. We wish them all the best.  The goal of the program is to strentghen local youth of northeast - train them and take them towards enterprise creation. The same would also strengthen their local economy and also economy of the country.

  • 30th March 2026 - Employment Department Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

    Trainees of  Genpact  Skill BRIDGE Program were recognized and awarded their Job Offer Letters by Honorable - Cabinet Minister for Labour and Employment, Uttar Pradesh - Shri Anil Rajbhar Ji.  Following Key Dignitaries were also present -  - Principal Secretary, Dept of Labour and Employment, Dr. M.K. Shanmuga Sundaram, IAS,  - Director, Employment, Mrs. Neha Prakash, IAS, Secretary,  - BoCW, Ms. Pooja Yadav, IAS, Additional Labour Commissioner, Ms. Saumya Pandey, Additional Director, Employment, PK Pundir.  We thank Genpact for their vision to strengthen the youth and communities of Uttar Pradesh.  We look forward to building upon the momentum in the coming times. These trainees have completed the Skill BRIDGE Program and completed NIELIT aligned assessment. Post the training through REACHA team's in house placement cell - the trainees have been connected to Market and the same was recognized by the Honorable Minister! Our trainees - Naincy Gaur, Mohd Akil, Rohit Singh, Nidhi Negi, Khushboo Nishad, Paavan Kashyap, Aaryan Gupta Divyansh Dixit, Kajal Maurya were recognized on the ocassion and we wish them all the best for their professional journeys!

  • Products in Kashmir

    With what started as training and skilling Programs - today in collaboration with  Indian Army  in Kashmir - the trainees have been able to develop finished products with FSSAI Licenses.  REACHA  team is at it relentlessly to connect these products to the market. The income generated directly goes to the youth of Kashmir (from remote and far flung areas - who are working on this) In the Picture you can see -  1) Nazam E Agaz Bakery being run by trainees - A Cookie Box - Trainees of IHCL supported Chef Bakery Training Programs in Uri and Boniyar have made these  2) Apple juice - Trainees of Chinar Yuva, Baramulla have made these  REACHA remains committed to get the youth and trainees connected with market so they have a good shot at getting their professional journeys started!

    With what started with a small intervention in 2016 - REACHA's Kashmir Decade long journey has been filled with Grit, Resilience, Hardwork and most importantly Great Team members! The entire team pours their heart and soul in reaching out to the last person to the community and empowering them. We are grateful to each one of you and look forward to building upon the momentum with you all.  The team relentlessly works to strengthen the youth, communities and our country. Continuous Daily push is taken up. The whole goal and effort is to take work to places that are hard to reach, difficult terrain and get positive momentum going.

  • 25.3.2026 - J&K IMPARD, MA Road, Kothi Bagh, Srinagar

    Skill Development Impact Showcase  As part of  The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL)  CSR supported and  REACHA  implemented Skill Development initiatives implemented in Kashmir at Uri, Boniyar, Kupwara, and Srinagar, all trainings and stakeholders came together at IMPARD to showcase the project journey and impact.  The Impact Showcase included detailed discussion on project journey’s across the locations. How through IHCL CSR team is able to reach out to youth from remote and far and flung areas.  These youth are getting trained at various centers in collaboration with the Indian Army and with Tata Strive as Assessment and Certification Partner – Roshan Mustaqbil in Kupwara, Chinar Boniyar in Boniyar, Chinar Uri in Uri, and upcoming center of excellence in Srinagar.  Industry collaborators including – Radisson Collection, Sarovar Portico, Taj Dal View, Khyber Himalayan Resort and Spa, 5 Falcons, Arco Hotels, Shady Oaks, The Kabo, Lake View, Radisson Blu, Vintage, Pahalgam Resorts, Heaven Retreat, Ramada, Royal Batoo, Rose Petal, Samci, Riviera, Grand Mamta were present at the impact showcase and shared their views and expressed happiness and motivated the youth to continue to build upon their skill development journeys. Government officials from RSETI, JK Bank, Tehsil’s Office and KVK also came, participated and motivated the youth.  The event was graced by the presence of Dr Jahan Ara Jabeen – Director Trainings – IMPARD, Mr Mashrat Hashim – Deputy Labour Commissioner, Shri Jitendra Chand – General Manager Taj Dal View Srinagar and Nikhil Pant - Chairman and CEO REACHA . The senior guests interacted with the trainees and motivated them. The impact workshop showed how all stakeholders together – corporates, armed forces, academia, trainees, government came together and collectively showed their commitment towards strengthening skilling ecosystem of Kashmir.

  • Nokia Smartpur in Jammu and Kashmir

    24th March 2026 -  REACHA  Kashmir Nokia Smartpur Team along with HQ team met with Shri Shabir Hussain Bhat (JKAS) - Director, Rural Development, Kashmir Division. Shri Shabir released the Nokia Smartpur Jammu and Kashmir Coffee Table Book. The book covers details on the project journey that REACHA has taken up in J&K with Support of Nokia at 40 Panchayat locations across the region. It shows the activities that have been done, panchayat profile that are being benefited through smartpur intervention, and glimpses of our on ground efforts.  During the second half, the team also met Professor Raihana Habib - Director, Extension Department and Dean Horticulture, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Of Kashmir and presented her a copy of the Coffee Table Book. Ma'am heads all the KVKs of the J&K and Ladakh. Smartpur team is closely working with their team to deliver trainings and conduct awareness camps for famrers who are located in remote and far flung areas.

  • Visit of Governor of Manipur

    A significant and honorable visit was made by the Governor of Manipur Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla and the Inspector General (IG), Major General Gaurav Sharma to the IIFL Foundation and REACHA Implemented Training Centre at 26th Assam Rifles Camp, Pallel. Date: 23/02/2026 Venue: Training Centre, 26th  Assam Rifles  Camp, Pallel IIFL (India Infoline Group)  Foundation CSR Supported Homestay and Front Office Training with Tata Strive as Certification and Assessment Partner. The purpose of the visit was to interact with the current trainees and also the parents of placed trainees. The DIG, brig. Robeen Chatterjee briefted the Governor and the IG about the training structure, curriculum, and overall functioning of the centre, along with the hotels they are placed. During their interaction session, the dignitaries engaged with the current trainees and parents of the placed candidates and encouraged them to remain disciplined, dedicated, and focused on their goals. They appreciated the efforts of the IIFL Foundation Manipur team and motivated the trainees to uphold integrity and commitment in their future responsibilities. The trainees also had the opportunity to share their experiences. The visit concluded on a positive note, leaving the students inspired and motivated. The presence of such esteemed officials boosted the morale of the trainees and reinforced the importance of hard work, discipline and service.

  • Week of 16th March 2026 -

    EACHA  HQ team is on ground for extensive M&E visit for our  The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL)  supported trainings in Kashmir. As part of the visit the team visited the Uri center (as shown). The team in close collaboration with  Indian Army  is working to strengthen the youth of Uri and get them trained through IHCL supported Fashion Designing (Weaving) and Chef Bakery Domains.  Below is a glimpse of hand woven art created by our trainess expressing their message towards these programs, and REACHA HQ and Uri teams.

  • Highlight from February 2026 - Trident, Bandra Kurla, Mumbai

    Trainees from  IIFL (India Infoline Group)  Foundation supported intiative in Manipur, got an opportunity to interact with  Nirmal Jain  Sir (Founder IIFL) and  R Venkataraman  (Co-promoter, IIFL Group and Managing Director, IIFL Capital Services Limited). Trainees shared their experiences from the IIFL Foundation supported Front Office and Homestay Host Training Program in Pallel, Manipur - under guidance of  Assam Rifles , implemented by  REACHA . The trainees presented Nirmal sir with pictures from their training and classroom in Manipur.  After completion of training, assessment and certification from  Tata STRIVE , trainees through REACHA's in house placement cell have now gotten placements/market connected at Trident, BKC, Mumbai - marking a start of the new chapter in their lives.  We wish the trainees all the luck, commend them for their hardwork, wish them best as they start their professional joruneyes.  We thank  Madhu Jain  Ma'am and IIFL Foundation team for their vision and support to strengthen Manipur and Northeast.

  • 20th March 2026 - Hathiyathal Panchayat, Roorkee Block, Haridwar District.

    Inauguration of  Nokia  Smartpur Center yesterday by Honorable Vice Chairman  SETU Aayog  - Shri  Raj Shekhar Joshi  Sir (with SETU Aayog team -  Dr.Bhavna Shinde , Neeraj) . The center will bring Governance, Livelihood, Disaster Risk Reduction, Education and Finacial Inclusion related services to 3500 village community members. These members earlier had to travel long distances to avail basic services like photostat etc. It was heartwarming to see the children of the village who showed enthusiasm towards learning computer for the first time!  We thank Gram Pradhan and all community members for their support and look forward to building upon this new start.
