Farhan Khan belongs to a financially modest family. His father, works as a labourer, while his mother is a homemaker. There are 5 members in the family, including his father, mother, brother, sister, and himself.

The candidate is a resident of Shaladajan, Nowshera, Boniyar, a hilly village in Kashmir. Due to the difficult terrain and limited transportation facilities in the area, he used to walk on foot during the morning and evening to reach the highway, and then come to the The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) supported Chinar Boniyar Center for his training. 

Despite these challenges and his modest family background, Farhan remained committed to his training and successfully secured placement as a Chef Bakery trainee/employee at Absolute Barbeque, Hyderabad, with food and accommodation.
