- REACHA is implementing coding projects through Kojo across India along with partner organizations.
REACHA is implementing coding projects through Kojo across India along with partner organizations. There are two models that we are focusing on through Kojo - Teaching coding through Kojo to students by our expert technical team Coding on Kojo is in line with National Education Policy (NEP 2020) that mandates coding as part of the school education for class 6th upwards 2. REACHA is also implementing Kojo coding projects where we are training the local youth to become Kojo coding instructors, who then go on to teach coding to school children. (NEP 2020 is creating a need for trained instructors, and we are working towards meeting this through Kojo coding projects) The above is guided by Kojo creator himself, who is part of REACHA team - Mr. Lalit Pant (IIT-Delhi and IIT-Kanpur alumnus), and REACHA's tech team. Some pictures from Kashmir, where we have been implementing Kojo coding projects under guidance of Indian Army (Developing Kojo Instructors). A key goal of REACHA is to take essential 21st century skills to tough and remote geographies of India where the need is real, and the youth are wanting and waiting for a genuine opportunity to learn and grow!
