Taking Services to the Last Mile | Connecting the Unconnected - UBHAPAN Nokia Smartpur Centre

The UBHAPAN Smartpur Centre is located in Jirapur Block of Rajgarh District, Madhya Pradesh, approximately 15 kilometers from the block headquarters. The centre serves a direct population of around 2,700 people and extends its services to two neighboring Gram Panchayats, Kharkheda and Jetpura, covering six surrounding villages with a combined population of nearly 4,000 residents.

A significant portion of the local population belongs to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) communities. The region has limited access to digital services, and no comparable digital facility is available in the nearby area, making the UBHAPAN Smartpur Centre a vital hub for community development and digital inclusion.

Through the UBHAPAN Smartpur Centre, we provide need-based services and support to the community. Regular training and awareness programs are organized on topics such as livelihood enhancement, health and hygiene, digital literacy, and education, with a special focus on women and girls. These initiatives aim to empower local communities, improve access to information and opportunities, and promote sustainable development at the grassroots level.
