Digital Literacy Classes in Action in Kashmir under  Nokia  supported Smartpur Project. Below is a glimpse from districts - Wanpora, Hendew Shopian, Gariend Budgam, Vodhpora Kupwara, Sitharan-A.  Community Members are actively coming to the centers in Kashmir to learn hands on computing skills.  Kashmir Samrtpur team continues to reach out to communities from far-flung areas and is strengthening them through this intervention! The team briefed him about the  SIDBI(Small Industries Development Bank of India)  supported Enterprise Development Program for the Youth of Arunachal.  The team looks forward to exploring synergies with the  Arunachal State Rural Livelihood Mission (ArSRLM) . Focus on diverse skillset is an integral part of the program - including communication, leadership, problem-solving, financial management, marketing skills, and linkages with the market.

Classes underway for students Pan India.  Tech team is focusing on Basic IT Skilling - MS Office; Excel  Students have joined in from Kashmir, Baramulla.  These are 3 months intervention, and tech team is measuring the learning journey of youth. The curriculum and classes delivered are market mapped.

SIDBI(Small Industries Development Bank of India)  supported Enterprise Development Project.  REACHA  HQ team is on field, doing ground recce for the set up of Project. Some snapshots from beautiful Arunachal - Week of 12th May 2025. Goal of the project - strengthen the local communities through Enterprise Development and creating Linkages for them.

The team interacted with the local community members, panchayat members and local government departments to understand the impact created by Smartpurs at these remote locations.  These centers are playing a catalytic role in bringing in government schemes to the community members at their doorstep. These are also providing digital literacy and livelihood linkages and trainings.  The team is studying how the intervention at the panchayat level is strategically also giving benefit to various government departments in strengthening their mandates.

REACHA  HQ Team in action - Ground work to set up the project.  The team is working with Multiple Stakeholders in Nagaland -  Indian Army , Armed Forces -  Assam Rifles , District Administration Kohima, Local Communities -  Khonoma and Jotsomoa. Handicrafts / Bamboo crafting is a popular trade in Kohima, and the team is exploring and looking forward to strengthen the communities here through development of enterprises and market linkages.

REACHA  Team members in Kashmir are on ground with rehabilitation of the local community. Team in Kupwara, Baramulla, Boniyar and Anantnag are closely working with the respective District Administrations to help and support those who are affected.  The HQ team is also conducting online support and mental health sessions to stay in touch with our team in Kashmir, and also hear, support and motivate them.  We at REACHA are more determined than ever to strengthen and build upon the work we have done in Jammu & Kashmir with District Administration and  Indian Army  over the last decade. This is the time where resilience and grit all comes out and are needed! Cadence  and  REACHA  are collaborating for a CSR Intervention - Coding for Girls in Pune. Here is a glimpse of how technology is empowering the girls in Pune, and also generating pride in them for the country!

Breaking New Ground! REACHA  Team is currently in Kohima Nagaland, to kickstart  SIDBI(Small Industries Development Bank of India)  supported Enterprise Development Program. The goal is to develop entrepreneurs in the district, and help them to get started with their businesses.  We are closely working with  Assam Rifles  ( Indian Army ) for the above! Beneficiary, a mother of three from a low-income household, struggled to support her family as her husband had irregular daily wage work. Through Smartpur’s two-month tailoring and stitching training in collaboration with PMKVY, she gained the skills and confidence to start her own business. After completing the training, she was selected to receive a tailoring machine and materials, enabling her to begin taking local orders and contribute to the family’s income. Today, beneficiary is now an entrepreneur, earning independently within her family and community. Her journey demonstrates how skill development, follow-up support, and resource access can drive economic independence and emotional empowerment in remote regions. Smartpur is playing an important role in facilitating the above.

Roshan Mustaqbil Kupwara  (RM) Social Impact Projects FY 2024-25, Look back -  Aspirational Training Center for Youth of Kupwara  Key Stakeholders Involved –  Indian Army , Corporate Partners:  The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) ,  Kesari Tours Pvt Ltd ; Trusted Implementation Partner –  REACHA 25.2.2025; RM got felicitated by Honorable Vice Chancellor,  University of Kashmir , Dr.  nilofer khan  and Dr.  Shazia Manzoor  (HOD, Directorate of Lifelong Learning, University of Kashmir) at Kashmir CSR Dialogue 2025 at University of Kashmir.  The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL)  supported Training - Total Trained 25 youth, and Placed 12 youth. Development of state of the art infrastructure. Kesari Tours Pvt Ltd  Tourist Training program; 80 youth trained, and 43 placed  Digital Naari Program by  Retailers Association's Skill Council of India (RASCI) Development of Online Coaching Center by  Rising Sun Energy

Loyola College Trivandrum MSW Students (Anju, Soju and Ambjitha) complete their 1 month physical internship at  REACHA  Delhi Office.  The students put in a lot of hard work, and collaborated efficiently with team members.
