Week of 5th January 2026 - Fieldwork Diaries

REACHA team in Lohit District, Arunachal Pradesh - 

Key Pointers from the week - 

1) REACHA Team met with the Honorable MLA of Tezu - Shri Mohesh Chai and breifed him about our project progress. The team has been implementing IIFL Foundation supported Homestay Host training Program for the youth of Arunachal since September 2023. Post the trainings the team is generating pan india placement linkages for the youth through our placement cell. The team also breifed him about our SIDBI Intervention on Orange Revival and Enterprise Development for the youth of Lohit.

2) Meeting with Indira Gandi Government College Tezu Princial - who has been a pillar for our IIFL Foundation Supported Program since the inception.

3) Generating Community Engagement Door to Door - for mobilization of youth for the programs. The team is covering entire Lohit District - visited Chokham Village of the Chakma Community. 

4) The team visited Nefa Garden Dambuk and interacted with our Master Trainer Shri Borang Ji who has been guiding farmers and youth on orange revival practices in Lohit District under SIDBI Intervention.
