Week of 12 January 2026 - Sakhabama, Kohima Nagaland

New Batch Begins. SIDBI(Small Industries Development Bank of India) supported intervention in Nagaland. The intervention focuses on Bamboo Training, and then guidance towards enterprise creation for the youth.

The team is closely working with Assam Rifles to strengthen the youth of Nagaland. 


Sakhabama is a village in Kezocha tehsil of Kohima district, Nagaland. It is located about 11 km from Kezocha tehsil headquarters and around 30 km from Kohima district headquarters.


It is known for its Angami Naga community, lush scenery, and connection to Kohima's rich tribal culture, offering glimpses into local life and natural beauty near the state capital.
