UP Skill BRIDGE - Genpact and REACHA - Story of Mohammad Akil

Akil comes from a humble, middle-class family of five. He completed his BCA from Integral University. His father works as a Supervisor in the Gram Panchayat and has always encouraged Akil to believe in education, discipline, and personal growth. Despite limited resources, Akil carried big dreams for his future.

Akil was a sincere student but extremely introverted. He spoke very little in class and avoided interactions. Deep inside, he wanted to do well, but his lack of confidence and weak communication skills held him back. He knew that without improving these skills, it would be difficult to succeed in the corporate world.

When Akil joined the Skill BRIDGE Program, he came with a clear purpose — not only to learn IT skills, but to overcome his fear of speaking and become confident. Through regular counselling and guidance from the REACHA Team, Akil slowly began to understand his strengths and the areas he needed to improve.

During the training, Akil completed the NIELIT exam.

Akil’s hard work finally paid off. During the Teleperformance campus placement drive, he appeared for the interview — and to everyone’s pride, he cracked it in his very first attempt. Today, Akil is working on an international project as a Client & Customer Executive, earning a ₹24,000 monthly CTC.

Akil’s story proves that confidence can be learned, and fear can be overcome with the right guidance, dedication, and self-belief. With support and determination, every young person has the power to change their future.
