Nokia Smartpur in Jammu and Kashmir

24th March 2026 - REACHA Kashmir Nokia Smartpur Team along with HQ team met with Shri Shabir Hussain Bhat (JKAS) - Director, Rural Development, Kashmir Division. Shri Shabir released the Nokia Smartpur Jammu and Kashmir Coffee Table Book. The book covers details on the project journey that REACHA has taken up in J&K with Support of Nokia at 40 Panchayat locations across the region. It shows the activities that have been done, panchayat profile that are being benefited through smartpur intervention, and glimpses of our on ground efforts. 

During the second half, the team also met Professor Raihana Habib - Director, Extension Department and Dean Horticulture, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Of Kashmir and presented her a copy of the Coffee Table Book. Ma'am heads all the KVKs of the J&K and Ladakh. Smartpur team is closely working with their team to deliver trainings and conduct awareness camps for famrers who are located in remote and far flung areas.
