Awareness Program with University of Kashmir

18th June 2026 - Awareness Programme on Integrated Social Protection Schemes was conducted at Chattergul, Ganderbal, in collaboration with the Department of Social Work, University of Kashmir


The programme was specifically designed to reach the Scheduled Tribe population of the area and enhance their awareness of various government welfare and social protection schemes.


Representatives from the Sankalp Hub for Women Empowerment, Ganderbal, J&K Bank RSETI, Lead Bank Ganderbal, and the Health Department participated as resource trainers. They provided valuable information on financial inclusion, livelihood opportunities, women’s empowerment, healthcare services, and other welfare initiatives aimed at improving the socio-economic well-being of the community.


The programme witnessed active participation from local ICDS workers, community members, faculty members, students, and research scholars of the Department of Social Work, Kashmir University.
