Digital Literacy Classes and Financial Literacy E-Filing Camps underway at various locations in Kashmir. Team is implementing Smartpur in 8 Districts of Kashmir - connecting the unconnected. Team is working with determination to benefit the last person in community through the Smartpurs. Smartpurs over time have evolved as digital hubs in the far flung areas of Kashmir empowering the communities through technology!

Team visited the trainees of Bekhuliang's Farmers Enterprise (newly registered AOP). Under the SIDBI supported project, team facilitated the formation of this AOP for the farmers. Farmers jounrey, market linkage, orange revival etc. were discussed with the AOP members. Team continues to look forward to strengthening the orange farmers of Lohit District. The momentum is building up. Team organized a master training and capacity building for the community members. Topics covered include - - Digital literacy - Basic computer skills - Skill development activities and technology awareness - Technology-enabled farming practices - AI-based agriculture tools - Digital platforms useful for farming and daily agricultural activities These centers are promoting and strengthening digital inclusion at remote and rural locations of country.

Productive meeting with Dr. Pankaj Ashiya (IAS), District Magistrate, Ahilyanagar, where we had the opportunity to present the vision, depth, and scale of the Nokia Smartpur Program being implemented through REACHA. Team shared an overview of the Smartpur initiative currently being implemented across 11 states and 13 locations in India. In Maharashtra, the program is active in Nashik, and we have recently begun the implementation phase in Ahilyanagar across 15 locations. The team also presented founder's book by respected J.C. Pant Sir to Dr Pankaj sir. The discussion reflected strong interest in the program’s model and long-term community transformation efforts. Team looks forward to working and strengthening the intervention areas with support of District Administration.

Team has been working with IGGC, Lohit Tezu since 2023 with support of IIFL Foundation. Over the years team has empowered and strenghtened 320 youth from Lohit, District Arunachal Pradesh, 50+ of whom getting connected with market opportunities pan India. We thank Principle of IGGC - Shri Megu Kanki Ji for his visionary guidance and look forward to continue to build upon this momentum to strengthen the youth of Arunachal Pradesh!

11.5.2026 - Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh - Team met with Honorable CEO of State Transformation Commission, Government of Uttar Pradesh - Shri Manoj Kumar Singh Ji (Former Chief Secretary). Team presented him the annual publication of the Nokia Smartpur Book, and also shared with him about how through Smartpur in UP team is strengthening the last mile. Team will be closely working with his department in the coming times! The State Transformation Commission (STC) serves as the strategic think tank and delivery support unit of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

With support of IIFL (India Infoline Group) Foundation - team is briging Front Associate Training Program to Udaipur Rajasthan. The program focuses on strengthening the youth of Rajasthan to prepare them for Udaipur's Booming Hospitality Industry!

Aspirational District of India Inaugurated Nokia Smartpur at Gram Panchayat Mahabal. Team is collaborating with District Administration, RSETI, KVK, Animal Husbandry, SC/ST Govt Scheme Department, Horticulture, Skill Development to stregthen the communities of Rajgarh. 14 Smartpur Centers are running on clean energy - renewable through solar. Digital Literacy would be given to the community members - students, children, women, youth, and farmers through the center. The centers will act as important digital hubs to strengthen the communities of Rajgarh by providing financial, governance, livelihood, disaster risk reduction related services!

A training program was organized at Smartpur Centre, Nauda (Kotabagh, Nainital District) in collaboration with the Horticulture Department. The Horticulture Department played a key role by providing valuable insights on techniques for improved cultivation of fruits, flowers, and vegetables, along with information on government schemes and subsidies. Marigold seeds were also given to farmers by the Department to encourage floriculture and enhance their income opportunities. The session was highly informative and beneficial for all participants.

RSETI aligned training. A 6 day detailed training is being conducted for the Center Facilitators (Village Level Entrepreneurs) in Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh, as part of the Nokia Smartpur Project. The training courses cover - Tally, Basic Computer Skills, Training on MP online portal, Details of CSC/Governanve Services. The Computer trainers will also go a similar rigrous training by RSETI in order to be better prepared to kickstart the Smartpur operations! Smartpur aims to develop village level entrepreneurs over course of time through the intervention and strengthen their livelihood journeys.

HQ Field Visit to SIDBI(Small Industries Development Bank of India) supported Enterprise Development Program at Kikruma Village and Medziphema Village, Nagaland. Our CEO and HQ team interacted with the trainees. In two days team met around 100 trainees who have come together to form two group enterprises. The team remains committed to connecting the enterprise with market and strengthen them.

Under guidance and in close collaboration with District Magistrate's Office Haridwar and SETU Aayog, Nokia Smartpur Centre in Gopalpur Panchayat has officially kickstarted! The Block Development Officer of Narsan inaugurated it in presnece of the community and PRI members. This Smartpur will benefit 3500+ village community members through digital access across - education, livelihood, governance, disaster risk reduction, health awareness and Financial Inclusion Pillars. Team is committed to strengthening Uttarakhand.
